The Department of Information Technology provides support for desktop and laptop computers to all users including delivery and installation of hardware and software, system and application software updates, and is the main source for troubleshooting hardware and software problems for all users on campus.
The mission of the Piedmont University Department of Information Technology is to create and maintain a network environment that is both productive and secure. The department also encourages the members of the Piedmont community to use technology in an efficient and productive way.
The department's first priority is to anticipate the information, technology and communication needs of the university and provide the community with the appropriate resources, accordingly.
